Process Review and Functional Requirements Development
Business Process Review and development of a Functional Specification Report for a company involved in the manufacturing of animal feed products. The client wanted to implement an Entreprise Resource Planning package and the objective of this project was to prepare a report on the functions that the company will require from the package. A review of the current business processes was carried out and the weaknesses were presented to the management team. Based on best practices and knowledge on Enterprise Resource Planning packages, “To Be” business processes were successfully streamlined and were presented together with key changes to management and key staff. The functions required by a package to support the “To Be” business processes were developed by the project team. A Functional Specification Report was submitted to the client and will be used to select the package that will best fit the client's functional requirements.
