Locally DCDM is in the process of implementing CS/3 for a parastatal company involved in the management and treatment of waste water.
AccPac
Accpac for Windows was implemented at a leading Leasing Company to replace their existing accounting package Compta 500. All the leasing transactions are recorded on a leasing software called Intuilease which needed to be interfaced to the accounting package. With the implementation of ACCPAC for Windows, the leasing company is now in a position to extract management reports as and when the need arises. The fact that Intuilease has been interfaced to ACCPAC for Windows has avoided the company the duplication of input of the leasing transactions into the accounting package.

A leading Commercial Bank required a full multi currency accounting package to manage its Creditors, Fixed Assets and generate management reports. DCDM was approached to implement ACCPAC for Windows General Ledger and Financial Reporter, Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable modules. SYMBOLS, the front end software used by the bank, is interfaced on a daily basis with ACCPAC. In addition, DCDM has recently implemented Bar Coding for the bank's fixed assets. With the implementation of ACCPAC for Windows and interfaces, financial information has been centralised. The bank is now in a position to extract high level reports for the Bank of Mauritius as well as detailed analysis at branch level.

Our latest project is the implementation of Accpac for Windows for a multi site and diversified sugar group in Mauritius. The software was set up at two hotels and was interfaced with the front office system. The centralised payment activity of the head office was automated, which involved the design of interface for the transfer of purchases from six sugar cane growing and milling sites.
Payroll/HR
DCDM payroll has been successfully implemented for over 75 clients across all industries. One of our major projects consisted of computerising the payroll of one of the leading commercial banks in Mauritius which has more than 1000 employees and over 40 branches. Transactions are processed at some of the branches and centralised in the Head Office at month end.
Our software can also be interfaced with a clock card module. Most of the data related to the employees' presence at work are monitored by the Clock Card and downloaded in the Payroll System for payroll calculation.
Finpro
FINPRO has been implemented for over 16 clients located in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Gambia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Eritrea.

Our largest project involved the deployment of FINPRO system for an Agricultural Research Institute to 26 remote sites all over Kenya, with consolidation at the head quarters in Nairobi, Kenya. As a result, timely reports which are compliant to World Bank requirements have been generated.

DCDM also implemented FINPRO for the Ministry of Health of a West African country. It received fund from the World Bank for its Participatory Health and Population Nutrition Programme and it was mandatory for the Programme Co-ordinator to provide timely information regarding expenses and progress of the programme to the donor agency. With FINPRO, the concerned Department of State is now able to efficiently plan and manage a multitude of expenditures related to the project. It also allows the Ministry to manage external financing file complying to specific requirements of donor agencies. Finally FINPRO has allowed for the automatic financial and management reporting to the Department of State and to the Project Coordination Unit.
