Implementation of Oracle Financials, La Réunion
DCDM carried out the implementation of several modules of Oracle Financials at a client in Reunion island. The project implied mapping of business processes to Oracle Financials and the parameterisation of the enterprise resource planning modules. The different modules have been implemented and user manuals prepared and distributed to the client. DCDM provided training to end users on different modules and database administration
Largest commercial bank in the Island
Implementation of Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Mail Server in a banking institution allowing 600 employees to communicate across departments and different sites, exchange information to facilitate decision-making and serve customers better. This messaging solution provided to the client has resulted in sharing of information on a real time basis across various sites and department.
General hardware supplier in Mauritius
One of the largest general hardware supplier in Mauritius was confronted with information sharing problems that had negative implications on daily operations. Our expert Network Architects came up with a LAN-WAN solution consisting of a Windows-based Network implemented using Microsoft NT4 easing communication flows with the head office and the store which are in different locations.
Largest commercial bank in the Island
A commercial bank uses Trend Micro's ScanMail for Exchange to control viruses across 1,000 user accounts from 25 different sites and 2 Exchange servers. Keeping computer systems secure is a high priority in the banking sector. Trend Micro ScanMail is a powerful product which gives centralized control across heterogeneous platforms. This is particularly important as the bank has many different offices, units and departments around the Island. Updating and checking these one-by-one in the old fashioned way could not provide the high level of virus protection expected of the Virus Competence Center and the bank.
Large Professional Services Firm
A professional services firm with over 500 workstations was stuck in maintaining its antivirus protection programme due to sheer amount of work this implied. The organisation needed the right anti-virus solution that would automatically clean viruses and block spam email at the internet gateway and provide the necessary reports for analysis. An HTML front-end was also needed to manage the entire network from remote sites. We recommended and implemented Trend Micro's InterScan VirusWall and eManager to the complete satisfaction of the client.
IT End-User Security Policy
Developed the following for the largest conglomerate in Mauritius:
·An end user computer security policy
·A methodology for the assessment of the management of business risks associated with IT systems for companies within the Group
·Training of key members of the client IT teams in the methodology

The client was able to accurately benchmark the appropriateness and effectiveness of its computer management processes across its different business units.
Post Office Savings Bank (Africa)
-Project management of the implementation of an international core banking system out of Asia. Sub projects included work plan preparation, managing the vendor, programme management, change management, quality assurance.
Contingency Planning
Developed a contingency plan for the largest Offshore Fund Administrating Company in Mauritius should its main fund management software crash to enable it to respect its reporting duties and tight deadlines.
Ecommerce Security Review
Assessment of the risks and controls existing around the critical information systems supporting the newly launched Internet Banking services of the largest commercial bank in Mauritius.
Asian Based Bank(Mauritius)
