Investigation at a major company in Mauritius
Our forensic experts investigated stock differences and submitted the report to management. They started by interviewing key staff and proceeded at a statement taking. There was an overall report incorporating accounting and forensic findings, policy options discussions with client management.
Review at the customs department, Ministry of Finance Mauritius
Our forensic and accounting experts analysed the records at the customs and proceeded by a series of interviews of customs officers and third parties. They also investigated the working practices, structure, training requirements and revenue collection efficiency of mauritian customs department.
Customs assistance at the Ministry of Finance, Mauritius
The project was intended to determine the methods used by a smuggling ring involved in the false declarations of imports to the Republic of Mauritius and the extent to which customs officers colluded in the offences. There was an analysis of witness statements and documents signed by investigators and we submitted our recommendations for follow up action.
